Hey all, I've been slightly busy here working on updating the Matrix information we've got again. Especially since several of our players really are in need of having these rules lain out before them. As such, please direct your browsers

Here

and

Here.

Enjoy, comment, question, rant... etc... :P

Ah, no guy sorry.... it's because we moved the entire HHH.com main website. It was so scattered as to be annoying. The rules were barely functional. Let me see if I can figure out the real link for you. Don't expect the formatting of the page to work though if you can get to it.

Hrm... and the formatting still works. I'm impressed.

So got a question, have you seen any of the conversations about SR4 and the plans for changes with Deckers/Riggers? If so, you got an opinion you'd like to toss around here?

And now that SR4 is out, what're your opinions?

Okay, here's a new thought.

Programming times in the game are stupidly high and do not take much into realistic account for "quickly fluctuating SOTA" curves. A suggested alteration to the programming times.

Programming Test = (Program Code Rating + Mods Rating) * (Program Type Modifier)/1 Day

Program Code Rating is the cumulative value of the program in question. So a Program Rating 4 is worth 10 Code Rating Points (1+2+3+4).

Program Type Modifier(s) are :

Operating System/Core : 5
Attributive : 3 (System, Firewall, Response)
Utility : 2 (Combat, Communications, General, etc)

Mods Rating is the total number of modification value points built into a program. These would be the new ratings applied to the old programming mods (Crashguard, Bloatcoad, etc).

So let's say a Medic 4 (Crashguard 3) was being made. The PCR (Program Code Rating) is 10. PTM (Program Type Modifier) is a 2 (Utility). Mods Rating for Crashguard 3 is 6 (just making this up for example btw). This gives us a Programming Test of 48/1 Day.

Building a New Core OS (Agents, 'Bots, Autopilots, etc) with the same above values would have a Programming Test of 90 / 1 Day.

Given some consideration, I truly believe that a Form (Technomancer Program) should have different karma costs than in the books currently.

My consideration is that the karma cost would be the one (1) point per value. But the advancement time of the Form in question would be based upon programming advancement times. So raising a Form from Rating 3 to Rating 4 might only cost 1 point of karma, but it has the programming time(s) of going from a three to a four in the Programming Test (see previous post).

Hey guy, and welcome. You can post just as you have now to this one. The "Dark Ages" section are restricted posting to only members of the home game group here in Lafayette and specific others who originated here that now live abroad.

You are welcome to post within these areas according to general topic. I also invite you to run any Play-by-Post games here if you would like to and would happily host these locations/information for you.

Posting any Spam related materials however will earn an automatic BAN however, so consider yourself informed. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them either on a board or via PM ... depending upon the message.
